Fiber Gravel Sealing Technology

Fiber gravel sealing technology refers to a new road construction and maintenance technology which uses fiber sealing equipment to sprinkle (sprinkle) asphalt binder, fiber and gravel at the same time, and form a new wear layer or stress absorption intermediate layer after rolling.
Fiber gravel seal has a unique network winding structure, because the fiber itself has high tensile strength, effectively improve the tensile, shear, compressive and impact strength of the seal. The unique structure of fiber seal has high tension and elasticity, strong absorption and dispersion of stress, which can effectively inhibit the appearance of reflection cracks, so as to improve the service life of the road.
This technology is suitable for wear layer of asphalt pavement, old asphalt pavement surface layer and stress absorption layer of old cement concrete pavement overlay.
Ii. Technical Characteristics:
1, good stress absorption and dispersion ability. It can absorb the stress at the crack of the road or the local concentrated stress generated by the vehicle load, and the fiber crisscrossed by the fiber seal can effectively delay the generation of the crack of the road.
2. High wear resistance. As asphalt, fiber and gravel are distributed synchronously, the scattered gravel enters the network structure formed by fiber and asphalt binder. After compaction and forming, the gravel is tightly bound by the network structure of binder, forming a composite mechanical interlock system, which can effectively inhibit the slip and fall off of aggregate.
3, high water resistance. Because the fiber sealing layer has high elastic modulus value and strong extension force, its tensile strength is far greater than the shrinkage stress brought by temperature change, which reduces the low temperature brittle cracking property of the surface, effectively inhibits the generation of low temperature shrinkage cracks of asphalt pavement, and effectively avoids water damage.
4. High stability. The dense network winding structure of the fiber seal and the adsorption of the oil content of the front and back asphalt binder by the fiber which plays the role of reinforcement and bridge can effectively prevent the flow of asphalt, and play the role of high temperature stability, toughening and crack resistance.
5. Fast construction. As asphalt, fiber and gravel scattered in one car to complete the construction speed, shorten the opening traffic time, reduce the impact on traffic.
